“ I was pretty skeptical going at first when there was only a few reviews, but Im glad my boyfriend convinced me to. We were both very impressed from the moment we walked in all the way to when we walked out. All the food was displayed so beautifully and all the fish tasted so fresh. There was an item they didnt have but the chef was paying such close attention to our palates and gave the perfect alternatives for us to try. We both really appreciated how generous their sashimi cuts and complimentary items were ! we will definitely be coming back and bringing friends! ”
“ This holeinthewall Japanese restaurant has some of the BEST sushi Ive ever had. Its a quaint setting inside, but Hato near Koreatown LA is serving up QUALITY sushi and fun Japanese fusion dishes. Heres everything you should try Toro garlic toast, this is like spicy tuna crispy rice but make it GLORIFIED with caviar and gold flakes on top. 8piece premium sushi set that comes with miso soup made from fish bone. Each piece of fish was perfectly dressed and melts in your mouth. If youre in the mood for cooked items, try the Hato rice in hot stone, this was absolutely delectable with two HUGE chunks of black snapper and so umami Thanks for reading! ”

“ Found this spot while looking for a sushi dinner spot around 9PM in LA. One of my new favorite LA spots now! Definitely worth and was very good. We ordered the chirashi and supreme sushi selection. They also gave us all miso soups and it was good because it wasnt as salty as other places. The chirashi had a variety of fishes too including a scallop. I like the variety and their menu selection. Definitely coming back when Im in LA. ”
